Cuba participates in the 53rd edition of the International Tourism Fair ITB 2019, which takes place from 6 to 10 March, in Berlin, Germany.

The Cuban delegation will be chaired by Manuel Marrero Cruz, Minister of Tourism of Cuba and integrated by the Travel Agencies Cubanacán, Havanatur, Ecotur and Cubatur, the hotel groups Islazul, Cubanacán and Gran Caribe, as well as the associates Iberostar, Roc Hotels, Barceló , Meliá, ACCOR, Blue Diamond, among others.

In 2018, 208,506 German visitors arrived in Cuba, a figure that keeps Germany for the seventh consecutive year, among the four main markets that send tourists to the island.

Cuba, is a destination of preference for the Germans for their safety, the rich historical-cultural heritage, their popular traditions and natural beauty; reasons to continue betting on a greater positioning of the Destination in the preference of this market.

In the framework of ITB participants will be invited to the 39th edition of the International Tourism Fair FITCUBA 2019, which this year will run from May 6 to 11 and will have as a guest country to Spain, dedicated to the mode of events and incentives and its headquarters will be Havana, in the framework of the 500 Anniversary of its foundation.
